Portland, OR – October 2020 – Springbrook Software, local government’s most trusted financial platform, and City of Keizer, Oregon today jointly announces the successful migration of the City’s entire ERP operations into a fully cloud-based platform, Springbrook Cloud. The single, comprehensive platform includes Financial, Payroll and Utility Billing solutions. In addition, as part of the systems upgrade, the City added CivicPay, a highly popular citizen-facing online payment portal solution.
“We have been using Springbrook since [year]. When we previewed the online billing and payment options that Springbrook’s cloud platform had to offer, we knew that was the right platform for us going forward,” said Tim Woods, Finance Director of Keizer. “Many of our citizens ask for the option to pay by credit card: whether that’s online, by credit card in our City Hall, or by automated phone payments. That request has only increased during Covid-19; we are so pleased to be able to offer this feature as part of our Cloud migration.
Mr Woods added, “On the administrative side, we love the idea of having all our critical financial, payroll and utility software and data in a hosted environment – we never have to worry about software updates, server maintenance and security patches, we know Springbrook will take care of it. And because all these operations are in one single platform, it is a breeze to run reporting and get a complete and accurate financial picture, something I rely on for planning and accountability reasons. We like it so much that we already have plans to add additional HR and project management modules to this foundation that we have already built. Migrating from our local servers to Springbrook Cloud was a no-brainer for us. I think other cities should really look into doing the same if they value accuracy and efficiency and being prudent with how they spend city funds.”
“We’ve had numerous fantastic customer feedback similar to what Tim Woods and City of Keizer have shared on how Springbrook Cloud has not only given their city operations a boost in efficiency and security, but also enabled them to provide a better resident experience with options like online account management and payment,” said Robert Bonavito, CEO of Springbrook. It is core to our mission to always to be delivering solutions that are win-win for the agencies and the citizens they serve, and we look forward to sharing many more of such innovations with our customers in the coming months and years.”
